Interesting to note the buyer says the horn was purchased brand new in 1985 with the serial number 26008 - I purchased my horn brand new in February 1986 with the serial number range 17,000, also it is odd the Yamaha logo is not on the bell at all either in the purple/crimson/burgundy logo colour scheme that mine has or the stamped / engraved logo. This is the only list I could find Yahama Saxophone Serial Number List. Looks like somewhere between 2000-2006 - most likely closer to 2006. Looks like somewhere between 2000-2006. Serial # is 010xxx. Yamaha Custom YAS-875. Neck says Custom M1. Anyways, I am wondering what it is worth and what the sell value is, because at this point in my life I would much rather have some money (child on the way).
